AUDITION INFORMATION FOR MUSICIANS

Membership in the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra is by audition. Musicians performing with the BVSO are paid on a sliding scale. The next opportunity to audition for the BVSO will be Saturday, August 28, 2010. Auditions need to be scheduled with Penny Zent.

Requirements:
1. One movement of a concerto or sonata
2. A sight-read of an orchestral excerpt
3. Participants will be asked to perform two selections of orchestral excerpts of the candidate’s choice out of the options offered. For list of selections in PDF format, click on your instrument below:
