Letty Fuentes is the current Personnel Manager (3 yrs) and section 1st violinist (4 yrs) for Brazos Valley Symphony. She spent 15 years teaching in public schools, most recently as the Lead Orchestra Director for Alvin ISD’s Orchestra programs, and now works as a full-time freelance professional musician. Outside of performing, she runs her own music contracting business, Counterpoint Music, LLC. She is a graduate of the University of Houston (Master of Music in Education and Arts Leadership), Sam Houston State University (Bachelor of Music), and The Art Institute of Houston (AA in Culinary Arts).
