Free outdoor family fun! The July 4th Celebration Concert is part of a cooperative event, providing all day activities for the entire community organized by the College Station Noon Lions Club, the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the BVSO. The annual “I Love America” Celebration includes: children’s activities and displays, FREE museum admission, and a patriotic symphony performance by the BVSO presented by H-E-B, Wells Fargo, and Union Pacific will be topped off with a fireworks display. Come celebrate our nation’s birthday in style with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. Perfect for family and friends spending the holiday together!

This concert is presented as part of the Annual Community “I Love America” Celebration beginning at 9:30 a.m. that day.

Free parking is available at Fan Field, the gravel parking lot on Research Parkway on the Texas A&M University campus. There will not be shuttles from West Campus Garage or Reed Arena. Barbara Bush Drive will close at 4 p.m.; all event attendees must enter through Discovery Drive or John Kimbrough Parkway. Handicapped parking is available in Lot 41 in front of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum entrance.

Come early and bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Please, no pets or glass containers.


9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. — The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum open with FREE admission all day, College Station Noon Lions Club offering FREE eye screenings inside the library

12:00 p.m. — Food Truck Vendors Open including: Blake’s Steaks, C&L Nuts, the Crafty Pig, Good Bull BBQ, Krab Kingz, Kona Ice, Marco’s Pizza, and Sweet Pops

5:00 p.m. — Lions Club Concessions open with: Slovacek’s Sausage, Beverages, Water, and Free Watermelon

6:15 – 8:30 p.m. — Kids’ Zone open with games/bounce houses and two All Aboard Fun Trains

7 p.m. — Live entertainment from Ben Morris and The Great American Boxcar Chorus

8:30 p.m. — Patriotic Outdoor BVSO Concert begins

9:45 p.m. — Fireworks Show

Concert is weather permitting and program is subject to change.
